With a new year comes a lot of things going on, here is a recap of the announcements from last weeks practice for all team members.
Team Jersey
Club members tried on jerseys for size on Sunday to allow me to order the team jersey for members. All 2012 members are eligible to receive a jersey, if you missed practice you can write me to provide your size or I’ll take my best guess. I’m placing the order tomorrow at 2:00 CT.
Brooks Team Order
I will be placing an order of Brooks gear next Monday. All orders must be placed by 9:00 PM Sunday, 1/22. All current club members can get Brooks team apparel at or below list price including the cost of screening and/or embroidery. Additionally, club members can order Brooks shoes at about 50% of list price.
If you’d like to order apparel please do so at the GVPV store. If you’d like to order shoes please email me the specifics (style, size, color).
USATF Indoor Meet
The registration deadline for the USATF WI Indoor Meet is January 31. To register you must have had your age verified. If you’ve done this in the past your member card will denote it. If you have not please send proof of age to Matt Dewitt as soon as possible!

Other Events
Watch the GVPV Calendars for upcoming events. Some events of note are:
- 2/18-19 – SkyJumpers Camp – this is a great weekend camp at Maine South High School near O’hare. You’ll have the opportunity to work on your skills with excellent coaches that I’ve known for over 10 years for $200. The camp is led by Jan Johnson who taught me the majority of what I know. Write GVPV on your registration form on the top right corner. We’ll figure out lodging, carpooling and other logistics as we get closer.
- 2/25 – Watertown Indoor Meet – A final opportunity to practice the skills you’ve acquired with the club coaching staff prior to the start of the high school season.
